Mario Party!

Landen turned 6 years old and we got to help him celebrate! I made the long drive over to Surprise with the kids (Kevin stayed home to study). Julie always does such a great job with her kids' parties and we love seeing our family.

Apparently, Kimble thought that all of us cheering her on was too loud. Julie made two box cars- one Mario and one Luigi- for a racing game. The kids ran down the driveway, onto the sidewalk and back up to the garage. She even made a roadway with black garbage bags. The kiddos loved it!

Can you believe that this was a soccer ball pinata when Julie brought it home? She turned it into a bomb to go with the theme of the party. Such a great idea, it really looked authentic.

While all the other children were having fun playing the games, our kids were having fun playing with the Halliburton's toys. They were a little overwhelmed by all the kids they didn't know and chose to keep their distance instead.

The cake was amazing!

As soon as we got in the car, the kids raided their goodie bags. Karter found a mustache in his bag and was having a grand time holding it up to his face. Boy did it look silly!!
