Temple Lights '09

We headed down to the temple Saturday night to experience the annual Mesa Temple light display. We met all but one of my siblings (Lara was having friends over already) to walk around together. The weather was freezing and windy about an hour before we went, but by the time we arrived the wind settled down and we got perfect sweater weather. It is always fun to share this experience with the kids.
Karter chose to get a picture of the back of his head instead of his face. It was better than Kimble's weird face in the second picture we took. Kids, what are ya gonna do?

Kimble was having a ball playing peek-a-boo with Uncle Ryan.

Dallin, McKay and Karter ready to see some lights.

Kimble was admiring the wise men's camels.

Sophie and Koltyn were experiencing the temple lights for the first time from their strollers.

Koltyn kept himself busy playing with the sun shade on the seat in front of him.

Kimble and Karter really liked the manger scene with all the animals and the baby Jesus.

Kimble got a ride back to the car via Kevin's shoulders.

One last picture of the temple all lit up on our way out. We love to see the temple!

After seeing all the light displays, we went over to the Pratt's house for hot chocolate. Kimble and Karter were more excited to play than to eat. They love playing with their cousins.

Kiimble thought it was the greatest thing for Ryan to play peek a boo! I'm glad you got a picture!
