It's Definitely A...

BOY!! When the technician turned on the 3-D image, I had a feeling that it might be a little boy (I thought: "The baby looks just like it's dad!"). But because I was so sure that it was going to be a girl, I dismissed the thought. The baby was either excited to be seen or angry to be bothered, so it seriously just kept moving and moving. So, we weren't able to really tell until the last minute (after I rolled on each side and was jiggled to move the cord) and there was no doubt. I'll admit that I was a little sad that I was totally wrong. I even cried when we got to the car. But really, I am happy that the baby is healthy and right on track with his growth. We only had a girl's name ready for the baby, so if anyone has any idea for a great boy's name that starts with K, let me know.

CONGRATULATIONS! I know I'm biased, but I think boys are the greatest. I'd be happy if I had all boys ;) This little guy is so lucky to have such a fun family waiting for him. We can't wait to meet him.

Congrats!!! I might cry too if I find out I am having a boy. I know how you feel. :) I am glad that the baby is healthy and happy. And it isn't that we don't love our boys, but when you are expecting something and get something else, it startles you. Do you still have boy stuff from Karter?

Yea! Yea! Kristi be happy, think how blessed you are to raise any other beautiful son of our Heavenly Father. And another "young mission", as Kevin said. You are so lucky, he looks so cute already!

Since you asked for suggestions here are a couple of "K" names:
"Kumen" is the name of one the Nephite apostles that Christ called. One of my friends dad's is actually named that, but it always makes me think of the spice. And I was just thinking that if you spelled Carson "Karson" instead that might be cute. Good luck!

I did keep Karter's baby clothes... I actually went through them tonight and discovered that most of the very little 0-3 month clothes I have are now showing spitup stains I thought I had gotten out. Bummer!

Oh man! That is a bummer. That happened to me with ALL the little girl clothes that I had from Brynn and Lexie for Ellie. She just had to get new stuff. Oh well, shopping for new baby stuff is always fun! Let me know if you need help doing anything. Is the baby going to share a room with Karter?

Yay, a boy!! Congrats. I love boys. They are so much fun. Here are a few "K" names that I think are cute: Kaleb, Kamden, Keegan, Keaton, Kaden, Kole, Korbin, Kason, Kellen, Kian, Kameron, Kolton. For the stains, try hanging the clothes in direct sunlight all day. That really helps to diminish the stains. Unless you really want to buy new clothes. I know I would :-)

We both kind of like the name Kamden. Kevin really likes Kayde though, so we'll see. Thanks for all your ideas!!

I was actually thinking of putting Kaden for a suggestion too, but that's kind of common. I like Kamden too. Anyway, good luck with the stains in baby clothes. I had a stain in a skirt for about 8 years from I don't know what, but soaking it in oxyclean for about 20min. got rid of it.

Ooooh. I like the way you spelled Kayde. That is way cool.

Congrats!!!! Our baby boys can play together. :) I understand expecting a girl and the shock of a boy. Haha! But that is so great. I like Kayde a lot!

Congratulations! When is your official due date? I like Kamden, Kayden or Kayde as possibilities.
